After building a booming photography business from scratch, without a degree in business OR photography, all while raising 2 kids and keeping a “day” job, I can tell you that I have tried it ALL. I have a unique understanding of the struggle to maintain a work-life balance while keeping a business going AND keeping your creative muscles flexed. While growing my business, I mentored under many top photography educators including Kara Marie Trombetta (for boudoir and general business), Lola Melani (for maternity and motherhood photography) and Felix Kuntz (for editorial lighting techniques). Instead of mimicking someone' else’s system, I gathered my knowledge and created a business model that works for my lifestyle. In this vein, I am passionate about helping other photographers find their own unique flow in true mentorship style. It’s all about figuring out your point of view and dream work/life business and helping you turn that into a reality.

The first step of our mentorship is for you to complete a “homework assignment” about your business and goals, so I can determine your needs and craft a day that will benefit and interest you the most. Topics covered can include anything from:

• Getting started - how to start and set up a small boutique studio and a “solopreneaur” business model that works for you

• Finding inspiration and developing your own unique style

• Portfolio / website review & image critique

• Creating a luxurious, one-of-a-kind experience for your clients

Your 1:1 mentorship is a full 7-hour day, either at my Brooklyn Studio, or over zoom. I will completely customize the day of learning to fit your questions and needs. Lunch, snacks and a model to photograph (if desired) are all included. Also included is a 60 minute Zoom followup call to help with any questions you might have or image critique. Mentorships are available to 4 photographers per year, not in the immediate NYC area.

1:1 Mentorship Day is available for $3500, broken up into 2 equal payments.
2:1 session is available for $6,000 if you would like to share the session with a fellow photographer and split the cost.

One hour of Zoom Coaching is $300, 2 hours is $500 and is due upon booking.
